Why did you decide to work for Micro Focus?
I have many reasons for deciding to accept employment with Micro Focus. The main reasons include: close proximity to home and change-of-pace. Another selling point for me was that Micro Focus has been doing rather well despite our crashing economy.
What do you like about working at Micro Focus?
I love the small company feel. Upper-level management seems open-minded and they encourage feedback from employees of all levels.
What cool projects have you worked on at Micro Focus?
My current project is to transition the GM Data Express documentation into the Micro Focus style and format. I’m really looking forward to working more closely with Micro Focus software.
What has been the most amazing day you’ve had at Micro Focus?
No day in particular stands out, but I really liked the All Hands meetings with Nick Bray and Andy Greaves.
What is unique about your role at Micro Focus?
I’m one of two American authors working in this general area. Currently, I’m the only author who works in the Rockville office. I feel that I have a real advantage with my placement so close to the Rockville develop teams.
What goals at Micro Focus do you hope to achieve?
I would like to be fully acclimated in my current position, and then possibly pursue a leadership role in the future.

Why do you like about working at Micro Focus?
My manager is a consummate professional and a great mentor.
What cool projects have you worked on at Micro Focus?
I have worked on a number of large sales, including an enterprise agreement at Wal Mart and at Personix, and I have been working with large state agencies across the state of Texas.
What has been the most amazing day you’ve had at Micro Focus?
The day my manager and I closed a multi-million dollar deal with Wal-Mart.
What is your favorite benefit about working at Micro Focus?
The technical resources we have.Micro Focus has outstanding technical people who are invaluable in every step of the sales process.
What is unique about your role at Micro Focus?
As a sales representative, I get to work independently as well as work with a team. My role is to orchestrate various resources to get the sale closed.
What goals at Micro Focus do you hope to achieve?
I have been on board for one year, and I have been successful. I want to establish myself as a solid producer, and I want to be able to keep my position at Micro Focus until my retirement date.

I was recruited back into Micro Focus based on my prior success here. After careful consideration, I was very enthused about the space we are in and the plans for the future.

Large volume sales at several strategic accounts.

The day I closed Boeing for a large strategic deal that sets the precident for future growth.
