Application Server™

Micro Focus Application Server™ is a high performance execution environment to deploy COBOL applications on all of today's popular Windows, UNIX and Linux platforms.  

Micro Focus Application Server™ is used for the deployment of applications created with Net Express 4.0 or earlier, Net Express with .NET, Object COBOL Developer Suite or Server Express 4.0 or earlier.

For applications created with Net Express® 5.0 or Server Express™ 5.0, Application Server has been replaced by Micro Focus Server™ for COBOL (non .NET applications) and Micro Focus Server™ for .NET (applications deployed into the .NET Framework).
