COBOL and Java/J2EE integration

Micro Focus COBOL Technology includes a high-performance, robust, proven and portable platform for the deployment of COBOL applications on Windows, UNIX and Linux. Using our J2EE Connector capabilities, COBOL components can be accessed in a J2EE-compliant manner from Java application servers such as IBM WebSphere®, Oracle® Application Server, JBoss and BEA WebLogic

Micro Focus Professional Services can integrate your COBOL application with Java/J2EE by undertaking a project through assessment, pilot, build, testing and deployment stages based on your specific business objectives. Alternatively we can enable your development team to do the job themselves:

Aims and Approach

The aim of this consulting service is to help your team learn how to integrate your COBOL and Java applications, so that composite business applications can be created.

This consulting service is typically combined with training for the development and operations teams in the specific Micro Focus products they will utilize during and after the service engagement.
